Sr. Set-Up
Technicians
Hawk Precision Components/Helsel Facility
is accepting resumes for 2nd and 3rd shift
Senior Set-Up Technicians for Compaction
presses. Successful candidates must have
experience with Cincinnati presses, DC II,
FSU & Rigid reflex. Knowledge of Dorst
presses a plus. Solid examples of general
set-up, removal of tooling, adjustment and
operation required. Strong analytical
skills, preferably involving numeric
controlled equipment such as presses, mills
and lathes. Programming or computer
knowledge is essential for machine setup
and technical analysis. Must have in-depth
knowledge of powdered metal processes;
tooling, materials, and compaction concepts
is highly desired. Experience with the
setup and operation of powder metal
compaction presses for multi-level
components is preferred.
Responsibilities include setup and
operation of compacting equipment.
Candidate must be capable of training setup
personnel, operators and others in the
operation of equipment for specific parts
and processes. Develop or assist in
creating and maintaining setup standards,
training materials, and other standard work
for compaction equipment. Work with
Engineering, Quality and others to develop
new part programs, processes and tool
designs as well as assist in new product
introduction. Initiate actions and assist
others as necessary for the upkeep and
improvement of equipment and processes.
Assume leadership role in overall operation
of the department: quality, training, 5S,
safety, and on time delivery to our
customers, internal and external. Excellent
communication skills are essential.
Candidate must be self-motivated &
self-directed requiring minimal supervision
with the willingness & ability to work
overtime as needed, including weekends.

Plastic injection molding company is
looking for a 2nd shift Tool & Die
Technician. Duties include: modifications,
repairs, preventative maintenance on molds
and secondary equipment.
Qualified applicants will have experience
with mold repairs, electrical wiring, &
fluid power troubleshooting. Must have own
tools. Applications accepted at 2782 E. US
Hwy 52, Morristown, IN, weekdays between 9
& 4.
