My greatest memory that I hold deep in my heart, is when I was at the Kroger 200 back in the early 1990's, and sitting there looking around I noticed Dale walking all alone along side the fence inside the track, right in front of all the crowd. I immediately got up and walked (ran) after him,for a moment in time I got to walk beside my hero! He gave me his autograph, even though he was in a hurry to go get geared up for the race. I will never forget this man. I haved lost someone dear to my heart! I realized what an imapact he had on all of us the last few days, and ecspecially the other day when my son who is 4, threw a penny in a wishing well, and said "I wish Dale Earnhart was still alive". His memory will live on forever in our hearts.
