Dale Earnhardt has been and will always be my favorite. When it comes down to it, I believe that he was the John Wayne of NASCAR...the last cowboy. One of my many favorite memories goes back to when he had finially won the Daytona 500, he had tries and tried for so many years to win it, and his dream had finially come true. I have been a diehard NASCAR fan all my life, and had been a Earnhardt fan throughout his entire career. It is so very sad now that the "INTIMIDATOR" is gone, and I still kind of find it hard to believe that he is gone. So now even though my hero is now gone his way I am still going to be a big fan of his son Jr. may he win many more races and carry on is his fathers foot steps. We will never forget you dale, You will always remain in our hearts as the man in black, and as a champion.
