Place a Wedding Announcement

Wedding notices appear in Saturday editions. The News does not guarantee a publication date. The News reserves the right to edit all stories for content and clarity.

The News prints wedding announcements at no charge for up to two months after the wedding date. Wedding notices turned in after the two-month deadline will be charged a $50 fee, which must be paid in advance.

The News will not rerun announcements if information was omitted or mistakenly submitted by the person completing the form.

Information on grandparents is not used unless they are the only local connection.

Do not use courtesy titles. Use first and last names. Those names that are submitted incomplete will be omitted.

When submitting a photograph to The News, if you want it back, then the photo should be accompanied by a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Photos not accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope, will be held for three days upon receipt. If the owner has not returned for it within three days, it will be disposed of.
