YMCA DIRECTOR A great opportunity for the candidate who is ready to lead an established YMCA to the next level of community service. New CEO will lead 6 part-time staff, as well as be responsible for a 7,000 sq. ft. facility featuring a fitness center, outdoor pool, handball/racquetball courts, free weights and outdoor sports activities. Preferred candidates will have proven skills and work experience in developing & managing membership growth and retention. They will have the ability to be an ambassador for the mission, goals and values of the YMCA in the community, serving as a respected community leader. The position will require skills in developing and nurturing collaborative efforts with other organizations in the community. Demonstrated fiscal responsibility will be critical for the successful candidate. This YMCA has a committed Board of Directors ready to assist the new CEO in developing a comprehensive plan to make the YMCA the leading service provider in our community. Requirements: 1. YMCA Senior Director Certification (Preferred) 2. Leadership in Comprehensive Physical Education Facility 3. 3 - 5 years as a YMCA Executive or Program Director (or equivalent experience) 4. 4 year college degree or equivalent.
