And so it begins
The new school year is under way.
As the children of our communities begin their season of learning, let us be mindful of the little ones as they progress to and from school each day. More children will be in more congested areas during school travel times. Buses will be stopping traffic as they pick up and deliver their precious cargo.
The rest of us in the community need to remember safety, rules of good behavior while driving and to be on guard to protect our chidlren from anyone who would harm them, either through irresponsible behavior or through predatory acts.
To those of us no longer in school falls the responsibility to demonstrate what we have learned.
