PLYMOUTH Weve all seen money -grubbing businessmen out only to make a buck.

A new generation is ready to alter the business world. Plymouth has its own 10-year-old entrepreneur, simply working to make the world a better place.

Jessica Bare of Plymouth has started her very own business, Magnets Galore. Jessica, a fifth-grader at Washington Elementary, is selling her magnets at her parents shops, Bare Impressions, located at 228 N. Water St. in Plymouth.

Jessicas mother, Chris, decided to let her daughter sell her magnets in the family shop. We thought it would be a good outlet for her, Chris explained.

The idea to set up her own business came to Jessica during a bi-annual trip the family took during the summer.

I saw one on the trip and wanted to do one, Jessica said of the magnets

She has been busy making the magnets since the family returned. Jessica spent the next few days cutting out the fabric for the magnets. She spent about six hours each day cutting out all of the designs.

The magnets can be used in all sorts of different ways Jessica points out they can be used around the home, office, or in school lockers. All are viable options. Jessica also offers theme magnets. Scooby Doo,Americana, seasonal and animals are only a few of the theme lines she has started. As a flyer for Magnets Galore reads:, We carry too many to mention.

Washington Elementary may have a lot of talented and smart kids, but how many other entrepreneurs are there?

I think Im the only one, Jessica observes.

Jessicas ambition for selling the magnets is to get enough money . . . for a horse. She does realize that the magnet-selling must continue even after the purchase of the horse. She will then be paying for food and all of the other equine necessities.

It will be never-ending, Jessica says in regards to paying for the horse.

The price range of Jessicas magnets range from $1.25-$10. She has plans for two craft shows in Warsaw, but is also planning other holiday appearances.
