Drivers Do Yard Damage

Pilot News Staff Report

PLYMOUTH The Marshall County Police Department is investigating a pair of incidents.

In each case, an unknown driver intentionally went off the roadway into yards and damaged the property.

On Saturday, a resident who lives on the 14000 block of 6th Road reported to Sgt. Gary Dunlap that sometime between 8 and 11:45 p.m. Friday, a motorist drove up the driveway and into the yard. The car apparently spun its tires in the yard, digging ruts in the ground.

Once the damage was done, the vehicle left the area.

Dunlap responded to another complaint at 7:40 a.m. Sunday by a resident who lives on the 11000 block of Hawthorn Drive.

The victim reported sometime between the late night hours Saturday and the early morning hours Sunday a motorist drove into their yard and damaged a Pepsi machine they have there as well as doing property damage.

Anyone with information regarding the incidents is urged to contact Dunlap or the Marshall County Police Department (574) 936-3187.
