CULVER -- Another honor for Culver Community High School graduate Stacy Stevens took place Friday night.
At the schools Sports Spectacular, the senior was honored when her jersey No. 22 was retired.
I wasnt expecting that, Stevens said. They had me go out there and they gave me a glass case with my jersey in it.
Stevens said the honor was special, a rarity in high school.
Its hard to believe I cant picture nobody else wearing my jersey, she said. Its weird. Nobody is going to be wearing it at all, so its exciting.
