Makalia Rene� Brown, 6 Makalia Rene� Brown, 6, of North Bend, Ohio, died on March 1, 2005, at the Mercy Hospital-Western Hills Campus, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a first-grade student at the Meredith Hitchens Elementary School, Addyston, Ohio, a cheerleader for the 3 Rivers Athletic Association and a member of the Adventures for Wish Kids. She is survived by her parents, Brian T. and Stephanie M.; by her siblings, Ashton and Daniel; by her grandparents Darlene and Neil Connelly and Karen Nellis; by her great-grandparents Marilou and Steve Tackas, Maxine and Pete DeGerlando and Evelyn Ricci; and by aunts an uncle and cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2005, from 6 to9 p.m. at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 South Miami, Cleves, Ohio 45002, where the service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 10 a.m. Interment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, Ohio. Memorials, if so desired, may be made to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy, P.O. Box 196, Libertyville, Ill. 60048-0196.
