Ruth Evangeline Trimble, 89 Ruth Evangeline Trimble, 89, of 809 Brawley Ave., died Aug. 15, 2005, at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was born June 3, 2026 to Charles and Mary Carpenter, in Rochester. She had been residing in Faithbuilders Personal Care Home, Guys Mills, since January, 2003. Ruth was a graduate of the Ambridge School of Nursing, summa cum laude, and fulfilled over 30 years of nursing, supervision and private duty in hospitals in Washington, D.C., Aliquippa, Polk and Meadville. She enjoyed doing special private duty until the age of 75. She also enjoyed driving her car, reading, sewing, helping others and actively supporting missions in her last years. She had been a member of the Canal, Alida Smith and Meadville Wesleyan Methodist churches. She is survived by two sons, Charles E. Trimble and wife Mary of Rock Hill, S.C., and Arthur R. Trimble of Meadville; a daughter, Marilyn R. Hinman and husband Eugene of The Villages, Fla.; a sister, Esther Kendall of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edgar Trimble. Memorials may be made to Gideons International or a mission of your choice. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at the Barco Chapel in the Grace Center of Wesbury United Methodist Community at 3 p.m. Saturday.
