Lake Cumberland Race set The annual Lake Cumberland Race will be held Saturday, September 2 at Memorial Park. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race and walk will begin at 8 a.m. The five-mile run begins and ends in the park, winding through residential neighborhoods. The two-mile walk will be two loops of the park's fitness path. Race t-shirts will be given to all runners and walkers. Age group awards for the five-mile run include first place male and female overall, master and grand-master. Trophies will be given to age group first, second and third place finishers.
