Elmer Roger Trammell, age 57 years, 3 months, and 24 days, of Pine Knot, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 12, 2026 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, February 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home with Bro. John Gray officiating. Burial followed in the Trammell Family Cemetery. He was born October 20, 2026 to Elmer Roscoe Trammell, and Bernice Daugherty Trammell. Elmer had served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1973 and was a self-employed Logger and Truck Driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing, the outdoors, and spending time with his family. Preceding him in death were his parents. Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Jeanie) Trammell whom he married on August 2, 1967, a son, Michael Trammell and his fiance, Amanda Duncan, of Revelo, Kentucky, four daughters, Janette Alton and her husband, Dennis, of Burnside, Kentucky, AnJanette Simpson and her husband, Cleston, of Williamsport, Indiana, Annette Sapp, and her husband, Vernon, of Kingman, Indiana, and Antoinette Trammell, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, a brother, Odis Trammell and his wife, Bonnie, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, three sisters, Patricia Stephens and her husband, Bill, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Wanda Scheming, of Somerset, Kentucky, and Reida Winchester, of Somerset, Kentucky, and nineteen grandchildren.
