Gladys V. Baughman, 84, Virginia Beach, VA, died Jan. 28, 2005 at a Virginia Beach Hospital. Funeral services were held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, by Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial followed in Princes Anne Memorial Park. Born Jan. 19, 1921 in McCreary County to the late Chester �Pennyrile� and Ollie Martin Jones. She grew up in Worley, KY and married Johney C. Baughman (Cy Shepherd), adopted son of C.W. Shepherd, Smithtown, KY on Dec. 28, 1940. He preceded in death exactly one year ago on Jan. 28, 2004. Survivors include her two daughters: Johnetta McLaughlin and husband, Loy, of Lancaster, VA; and Debbie Hahn and husband, David, of Winchester, VA; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Jones Sinner and three brothers, Estes, Roy and Dean Jones. Preceding her in death were a brother, Ernest Jones; two sisters, Joyce Jones Inman and Jeweline Jones Johnson and three infant sisters. Obit compliments of Johnnie McLaughlin Add a Condolence |
