Motorcycle hits car killing Stearns couple
By JANIE SLAVEN and KEN SHMIDHEISER
EAGLE Alan and Adriane Keith, young parents of a toddler and a week-old baby, were enjoying an exhilarating spring motorcycle ride when cruel fate befell them Sunday. Today their children are orphans. Apparently swinging too wide as he entered one of the many curves along the serpentine Cumberland Falls Highway, Alan lost control of his 2003 Yamaha and careened head-on into a 1997 Volvo operated by Joan Hundley, 42, of Shelbyville, KY, who was visiting McCreary County along with three kids on a Girl Scout outing. Both Keiths were instantly thrown from the Yamaha. The wreck occurred on KY 90 about 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning some eight miles east of Parkers Lake, according to the Kentucky State Police. Investigators said Adriane Keith, 18, was already in cardiac arrest when McCreary County EMS transported her to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was then transferred to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where she was pronounced dead by the Fayette County Coroner. Alan Keith, 24, who reportedly suffered multiple fractures, was airlifted by Air Evac to the University of Tennessee, where he succumbed to his injuries yesterday afternoon. In a tragic twist, both Keiths were protected with helmets, but suffered injuries to other parts of their bodies resulting in their deaths.

Jonathan Hearld (4/27/2005) This whole thing is very sad. It's very bad that both the husband and wife, father and mother has gone on from this world, and here are two small children who didn't even get to know their parents.
I just hope who takes care of them will give these children that special kind of love, and I believe that they will.
I hope that people will give generously if they are able too.I will certainly give some,I don't have alot, but if just everyone gave what they could,it would all add up.
