Mr. Patrick S. Ross, age 42, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at his home on Williamsburg Street. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 23, 2005, in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Edison Watson and Bro. Scott Corder officiating. He was laid to rest in the Pine Knot Cemetery. Patrick was born in Somerset, Kentucky, on December 17 1962, the son of the late Harold Cooper and Kathleen Dick Ross. He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Murphy Ross, two daughters, Mary Kathleen and Jackie Danielle Ross of Whitley City, a brother Lanny Cooper Ross and his wife Sue of Crossville, Tennessee, and a sister Anita Gay Edmonson of Louisville, Kentucky, and his step-mother Patsy Ross of Whitley City. Patrick was a caregiver for his children, enjoyed his home his family and many friends. He had attended the Pine Knot Southern Baptist Church and had worked as maintenance man at Kroger.
