Robert C. �Bob� Hill, 76, of Fostoria, OH was called home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 12, 2006, at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born July 7, 2026 to John and Viola (Troxell) Hill. He married Mardell Lee in Greenup, KY on August 21, 1948. She survives in Fostoria. He is survived by a son, Doug Hill of Bloomville; five daughters: Ginny (Charles) Rucker, and Robin Keller and fiance Joe Price of Tiffin, OH; Dana (Scott) Brown of Fostoria, OH; Vicki (Mark) Blackburn of New Riegel; and Debbie (Tim) Persinger of McCutchenville; three brothers: William Hill of Seattle, WA; Maurice Hill of Tiffin, OH; and Dave Ross of Pine Knot, KY; two sisters: Virginia Stephens of Tiffin; and Carlie Slaven of Strunk, KY; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hill; a sister, Jean Chitwood; and a grandson, Bradley A. Rucker. Mr. Hill was retired from National Machinery, where he worked as a fabricator and was a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tiffin, OH where he served as deacon, taught Sunday School and was active with youth programs. He was currently attending Evangelical Free Church in Findlay, OH. The funeral was held Monday, January 16, 2026 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. John Teeters officiating. Burial followed in Fairmont Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Fostoria Community Hospital or the American Heart Association. Add a Condolence |
