Louise Corder, age 93 years, 6 months, and 5 days, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 21, 2026 at Scott County Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the Walkers Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Brent Stephens officiating. Burial followed in the Walkers Chapel Cemetery. She was born July 16, 2026 in Parkers Lake, Kentucky to Ernest Souleyrette and Nora Walker Souleyrette. She was a homemaker and a member of the Walkers Chapel Baptist Church, where she had served as church clerk for 52 years, and taught Sunday School and Bible classes, she was also active in the Womens Missionary Union for many years. Louise enjoyed cooking, sewing, growing flowers, gardening, caring for her family, and she prided herself in her home making skills. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest Souleyrette and Nora Souleyrette Creekmore, her husband, Ernie Corder, whom she married on December 8, 1928, and two brothers, Lloyd and Lewis Souleyrette. Survivors include a son, J.E. �Jay� Corder and Regina, of Parkers Lake, Kentucky, a daughter, Peggy Walden and Paul, of Oakridge, Tennessee, a sister, Alma Ruth Damon, of Louisville, Kentucky, a sister-in-law, Wilma Souleyrette, of Knoxville, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
