Mrs. Betty J. King Todd, age 76, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2006, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Rollins officiating. She was laid to rest in the Silerville Cemetery. Mrs. Todd was born in Silerville, Kentucky, on February 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Wilburn and Elsie Ryan Miller. Besides her parents, her husband Oliver Todd, a daughter Tammy King, a brother Lonnie Walker and a sister Christine Strunk precede her in death. Family include four daughters Alice Fay �Sis� Carson and her husband Ted of Oneida, Pandora �Tiny� Crabtree, Kathy Jo King, and Debbie Lynn King all of Pine Knot, and three sons, Lowell David �Herbie� King of Livingston, Tennessee, Dallas King of Somerset, and Gary �Buck� King and his wife Mary of Strunk. There are 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Betty has three sisters, Pauline �Toots� Wilson and Sally Murphy of Strunk, Kentucky, and Laura May Murphy of Pine Knot. She had worked at Outdoor Venture Corporation and was a member of the Silerville Baptist Church. Pine Knot Funeral Home assisted the family with funeral arrangements. Add a Condolence |
