Monnie Duncan, 83 years, Strunk, Kentucky died January 27, 2006. Funeral services were held Monday, January 30, 2026 at McCreary County Funeral Home with Rev. Lenville Maxwell and Bro. Landon Sexton officiating. Burial was in Josh Wilson Cemetery. She was born at Strunk, Kentucky on July 28, 2026 the daughter of the late Jasper and Emma Alice Daugherty King. She was a cook in a restaurant and was a member of Silerville Baptist Church. Her husband, Oliver Cephas Duncan and her parents precede her in death. The deceased sons are, Estol Lee Duncan; Danny Charles Duncan and Bobby Joe Duncan. The deceased brother and sisters are, Hobart King; Hazel Roberts; Ethel Tucker; Georgia Anderson and Augusta Duncan. Two grandchildren are deceased. Survivors include her daughters, Vada Ann Duncan and husband Arvile; Dora Kidd and companion, Scott Baird, Strunk, Kentucky. The surviving brothers and sisters are, Darrel King, Marshes Siding, Kentucky; Walter King, Muncie, Indiana; Noble King, St. Cloud, Florida; Mable West, Pine Knot, Kentucky and Mary Jo Wright, Cleveland, Ohio.
